A Guar Business Built Over Three Generations
Lalita Guar Gum is a family-run manufacturing business with roots going back to 1995. The business has continued through three generations, with the same focus on guar and on long-term business relationships.
We are a manufacturer, not a trading house. We buy guar seed, process it at our own unit at Taranagar, and make three products from it. That is the whole business, and it has been for three decades.

Our process
Guar Seed Processing Flow
A simplified view of how guar seed becomes Guar Gum Splits, with Guar Meal Churi and Guar Meal Korma recovered along the way.
Stage 1: Raw Material Processing & Cleaning
Sourcing, cleaning and preparation of guar seed
Sourcing & Receiving
Raw guar seed arrives from agricultural belts.
Impurity Removal
Seed passes through cleaning equipment that sifts out foreign material.
Debris Separation
Dust, dirt, stones and broken seed are taken out.
Moisture Conditioning
Seed moisture is brought to the right level for processing.
Stage 2: Roasting & Conditioning
Thermal treatment to loosen the hull
Thermal Loosening
Cleaned seed is given a mild roast or heat conditioning.
Hull Brittle Transition
Heat makes the outer hull brittle, so it comes away without damaging the seed inside.
Stage 3: Dehusking & Separation
Remove the hull and separate the seed's parts
Hull Removal
The outer husk is cracked and stripped away.
Constituent Breakdown
The seed separates into its three parts: hull, endosperm and germ.
By-product Recovery
The separated hull and germ are collected as guar meal, which becomes our Churi and Korma.
Stage 4: Splitting & Grading
Split, polish and grade the endosperm
Endosperm Splitting
The inner seed is split into two halves — the guar splits.
Polishing
Splits are polished to remove remaining fibre and dust.
Grading & Sieving
Splits are screened and graded by size.
